San Franciscans eager to learn the art of kimjang

The goal of the half-hour class, was “to cover the basics of making and using kimchi.” The big deal is that the class was filled to capacity and not accepting any more students many days before the event.
Kimchi doesn’t need flashy ads with famous Korean celebrities or K-pop stars with catchy tunes to become popular in America. Entrepreneurs and passionate amateurs are teaching Americans the benefits and the culture behind kimchi one food festival, cooking class, blog post, recipe at a time.
